Oslo Fjord Deep Sea Fishing with Overnight Island Glamping
Oslo Fjord Deep Sea Fishing with Overnight Island Glamping
Combine island camping with deep sea fishing in this best of both worlds experience!
Starting off with a gentle cruise putting Oslo City harbour behind us, enjoying the fresh sea air and maybe a cup of fresh coffee as we adjust our heading for some of Salty Beard's secret fishing spots.
For this trip we will go fast roughly 2 hours due south until we reach the outer parts of the Oslo Fjord where the water reaches depths of 300 meters and more.
We will spend the day fishing at depths of 100-300 meters aiming to catch BIG, and see species we don't see every day.
As the evening approaches we will make our way to our camp for the night: Løvøya, where confortable glamping awaits. Our host will be happy to cook our catch for us, and make it an evening we won't forget.
The next day, we will head out to new spots for more deep sea fishing before we eventually set our course north and towards Oslo.
This outing can easily be combined with island landings, sightseeing, custom pick-ups or drop-offs, or other special wishes you may have.
Please note we will always operate well within the legal requirements. Rules and regulations may change, and may prohibit us from cooking our own catch. It is currently not permitted to fish for cod.
Depending on availability and how far in advance you book, the overnight stay may need to be moved a nearby hotel. We normally use the hotel on Oscarborg which provides an interesting and spectacular setting.
